Decent tripod deal on cammofire today

I'd been looking for a lightweight one for a while and pulled the trigger on this one today:

VANGUARD ALTA+ 253CT CARBON FIBER TRIPOD AND PH-21 PAN HEAD SET $200 with shipping. Not a super smoking deal, but compared to some of the competing products it was priced right for me.

Dude I am tempted! I have an alta 233ao and my dad is looking for same one. I'm thinking of selling mine to him and picking this one up.

I almost "pulled the trigger". I'd like to get my hands on one before shelling out that much money. Hopefully I can before it shows back up there.

Thats one of the downsides of camofire. Once you buy it its hard to resell it or break even. Everyone knows they were on camofire. Its a cool site but it kills value of certain items in a heartbeat.

Got it in today, I am impressed, thing is big and stable and really lightweight. Going to change the way I glass for sure.

Except now I am tempted to drop big coinage on a better scope. Have an old nikon that is as good or slightly better as my Zeiss 10x42 bino's. May just go with the rental route for a couple years, its really not that expensive.

Doenob, is there any way you can accurately weigh it? I have an alta233 and according to website they weigh very close. I would love to see true weight though.
