    WY Unit 124

Would unit 124 in WY be a decent archery elk hunt. I'm at max points and considering it, but I don't hear a lot about it. Feel free to PM me.

Not a decent hunt but an awesome hunt IMO. Good luck in the draws!

Great elk in 124, and good hunting. it is fairly open country,of course, which gives some archers pause. Not really a problem if you are a bit more creative. Biggest issue is many of the elk are in CO until their hunt opens. Pressure can move these elk across the border, and if they aren't on your side then your SOL.

It is an awesome hunt, would highly recommend it to you. Can be tricky bowhunting with all the open country but you can always rifle hunt it also. Let me know if you would like more information. I am in the unit all the time.

Good hunt, expect horrific draw odds this year. This hunt was off the radar two years ago, and now it has been highly promoted by Eastman's and Huntin Fool. Expect sheep like draw odds of 2-4% this year.
