This is going to sound crazy to you guys. My dream mule deer hunt would be the Central Oregon raffle hunt. There are some giant bucks very close to my home in Bend Oregon , but you never see then till November or on people's trail cams in the summer months. They have a way of dissapearing before bow season starts and not showing up again till november. There are no other seasons offered in November in this area other than the one raffle tag or auction tags. It would be cool to kill a 200+ buck near my home, that could happen with that tag. Not to mention I would be the only guy hunting there, that alone would be a dream.

I take it you guys scored on those awesome bucks in Colorado eastern plains? I thought most of that area was private?

Most of it is private. About 20 years ago I spent 2 days driving around country that I thought should hold big deer. I found the right door to knock on.
