    My buddy, Jake with his 2010 6x5 and that's me with the little 5x5 from last year. Nothing big, but not too bad for Colorado, public land, archery OTC.

    That's my cousins big rifle 7x8 from the Bighorns of Wyoming. I gotta hunt with him some year!

    This was my family's 2007 elk season. My dad is on the left with a Laramie Mtns. bull, I'm in the middle also with one from the Laramie Range, and my older brother is on the right with a bull from the Bighorns.

    Woops, I started another thread to show mine before seeing this. Anyway, here he is. My first bull, New Mexico 2009. DIY hunt at the end of September. He was the heard bull and couldn't be called away so I snuck in to get him in the junipers. 34 yards with a Rocky Mountain Ironhead.

    Great bulls..Sorry I didn't have any field photos of mine. Still had the old 35mm in my pack in 05..lol..Bigsurarcher,I guess thats the norm.;
    good herd bulls not leaving their cows. I've only ever had one incident when the herd bull came to me. That was after i made several cow calls. ran towards the bunch for about 60 yrds. The herd bull was 70 yards from me and I ripped off the meanest bugle i could. He was on top of me so fast I didn't have time to hook my release to my string and draw. He busted me. Guess you could say I got into his space. That was a heart jacker for sure.

    After several years of tag soup this is my first bull taken in mid September 2010. Bulls official score is 327. Taken on an OTC wilderness hunt in CO with Dad, brother, and good friend. Bull was 11 trail miles from trailhead and a special thanks goes out to our newly aquired pack mules. Very amazing experience!
