I have been MIA for a while and am posting some pics of 2012. I did not fill my spring bear or archery elk but had great pack in hunts. I was also lucky enough to tag along on my buddies wives goat hunt and fill my freezer with an Oregon blacktail and Idaho whitetail. So here they are!
A bike to haul out the meat. Good idea, and I might try that. Sure beats putting it on my back.
How did you get the goat out of the tree? Nice pics
Wild Country those are some cool pics!
Have you ever thought about using a trailer behind your bikes? I do a lot of hunting off my bike and usually end up quartering the animal and putting it in my pack and would like to get a trailer to get that weight off my back some day.
We had to rope him down out of the tree, two on the end and one guy below to help guide the goat to an area were it wouldn't slide any farther down the hill. ORBBB....I have converted a kid hauler to a meat hauler. We were only in about two miles on this trip and usually only take the trailer on multi-day trips.
