    NV Zone Question

Question for you Nevada Mule Deer experts...

I have zero points and don't live in NV, are there any zones that could be drawn on the first try? I know rifle would probably take several years, but what about archery?

I thought I found some, but those turn out to be a longbow hunt. I have a compound bow.

I think longbow and compound is the same hunt. I could be wrong. Look around the Elko area for hunts.

longbow is archery. they label it that to rule out crossbows. and early ruby mountains is an easy draw.

I always thought longbow referred to trad gear

Compound and trad are what you use during the longbow season.
