How is the weather fairing in Wyoming? More specifically in the north eastern half of the state? hunting region C again next fall, at least thats the plan. Just wondering how the deer are fairing so far.

So far the winter has been pretty mild. Not much snow at all and only a handful of cold days. Not much feed left for them though. We're going to need a lot of spring rain or the herds may be in trouble.

I agree. The winter has been super mild. Our river isn't even all the way frozen which is weird for this time of year. It's putting a damper on my across the river shed hunting. We are going to need some sort of moisture..

hope all is well in Wyo. We just got another 8" here in WI. Last year in March we hit 80 deg...........we MIGHT sniff 40 deg later this week and into next, and we have alot of snow on the ground.

I hope you guys out in Eastern/NE Wyo have had a good winter with some decent precip. and a wet spring! After last years drought some good rain would help you guys out alot.

This last little storm just barely dusted Laramie. I think most of snow was in colorado. I think this will be another ugly year for the animals. Hope I am wrong.

Depends on where you are. Most of Wyoming is below normal snowpack, anywhere from 70-90%, with very few drainages at or above 90%. Here in SE Wyoming not one storm has brought as much snow as predicted. This last one was forecasted to bring 3-7" or so and we got maybe an inch. Pretty weak winter. I hope we get some good rains . . .

If we don't get some good rains, we are in for a very long fire season!!

Definitely some much needed moisture . . . I think I'm going to look into being a meteorologist. I think they've been wrong most of the time and still keep a job!

Lets hope we keep getting some moisture here and there, but that the temps stay up . . .

Do you mean how we were supposed to have the storm of the century Saturday, got 1/2 inch. Then the weather yesterday said slight chance of snow with little to no accumulation and 8" drop.
