4 elk PP

I have 4 elk PP that I plan to use while I accumulate deer PP. Is this a good time to go smoke? Anyone use the Savage 10ml? Where to use 4 PP elk points with ML? Cow or bull? What would you do?

you should not have to use 4 pp on a cow elk. If you want to poke around a ranching for wildlife unit with a cow tag, so you can scout for deer, for a future deer hunt is the only reason I would spend those points on a cow.

BKC I could look in unit 61 while hunting a cow with a bear tag, but you are right, when I use the 4 PP it has to be bull. We answered one question.

I think you have a cabin or a summer house in a good area. At least it is where the bigger bulls should be. Stay in between the alfalfa and foothills.

No smokeless powder in ML season, but it's ok in rifle seasons in the Savage 10ml.
