I had 2 p.p.'s going into this years draw. When I applied I paid the license fee plus the extra $50 for the elk p.p. If I get my first choice will all my points be gone including the one I paid for during the application process? Or will I have one point going into next year? Just trying to see if I wasted $50 since I was guaranteed a tag for my unit with 2 points? I've looked at the Wyoming game and fish site a few times but it still isn't clear to me...

Yes if you draw first choice, your points are gone for the species you draw. And you will have zero points for next year
