    This video should go viral

Below is a link to an excellent, common sense video. This video should go viral.

To summarize: In the US violent crime is down 50% and the murder rate is down over 54% in the last 20 years. England with gun control actually has a violent crime rate 3.5 times that of the US. The bulk of US violent crime occurs in very small pockets in large metropolitan areas. In 2011, of the homicides involving firearms, only 3.5% of those homicides involved "rifles", and the AR15 is a subset of the "rifle" group. If politicians want to solve violent crime in those metropolitan areas they need to “put on their boots, and go to those neighborhoods and figure out how to improve the poverty level, how to create jobs and how to improve the education system”.

The problem with politicians is that they can only do two things: run their mouths and pass legistlation. Unfortunately, neither one is a fix for most situiations.

Agreed, Timberstalker that clip "War Of Words" was done well too.

Words like, "Weapons of Mass Destruction, Assault Weapons, Weapon of War" are all are words meant to label the item(s) with emotion and bring it to life to try to make it something to be afraid of and make people not feel safe. Those words are meant to create fear. These items are all just tools in reality. Tools can be used in a violent and destructive way, or not. It's not about removing tools, it's about the people that are using the tools.

The real issue or solution is not removing the tools both mechanical and chemical but perhaps one solution might be finding better ways and methods to teach and instill people's good morals, respect for others, and developing good and better character so all our tools can be used correctly and in a safe way.

Maybe its time we the people changed our leaders....as it was we the people who put these mouths in office. Too many Americans sit idle thinking someone else will do it, when in reality we are reaping the harvest of our own sowing from too many years.
I personally wonder at the rate the media is posting about how dangerous our assault rifles are and how violent they are, I wonder.....am I going to wake up one of these nights and find myself fighting with my rifle because it snapped got all "violent" on my ass and put me in harms way?
Well so far I have awakened to find it right where I left it before I went to sleep. And for now, I try to keep it away from the TV so it wont get any ideas and change on me....
Really.... Assault, violent, destroy(root word for the phrase womd) These are all verbs. Last I checked, verbs are action words. Actions are things inanimate objects cannot do on their own accord on in their own existence, albeit that alone.
    I hunt because......
