Funny you ask, I left Reno and weather was highs in the 30s. I get down there and lows were in the 30s. That didnt last long. They broke a whole bunch of cold weather records. It was 1 degree when I woke up one morning. That cold snap lasted almost 2 weeks! One of the reasons I decided to go down there was to get OUT of the cold. Good job Travis! Cool that your family spent the time with you too. Good looking buck and I'll bet some good eating too.
Here's an idea for you since your kids were along with you. My kids ALL TIME favorite breakfast is venison steaks dredged in flour and pan fried in butter. Make a gravy out of the drippings. Cook up some pancakes and have venison steaks, pancakes and gravy (kinda like biscuits and gravy, only better). That's my go to meal when I want my kids to be happy...they love it!
