What's a good legal one for under $1000 for the Cowboy State.
Old man has a couple 7-8 year old mule deer bucks that like to help themselves to his alfalfa stack. Game warden told him he was in a legal area for archery but not rifle for next year.

I bought a Barnett Ghost 350 for about $500. I haven't had a chance to kill anything yet but its extremely accurate. I can consistently hit the 2 inch circle on my target out to 60 yards. So far I am very impressed.
