Very cool. I drew that hunt two years ago. First time applying for a tag in WY, and with less than max points. Was like winning the lottery....I seen some really big bulls during the hunt but was sort of self limited as I was hunting with my dad who couldn't go that far off. But had a great time and shot a nice bull. The big bulls I seen, were all walking away from high pressure areas, to areas that weren't as easy to get to.

Thanks Dallen. I do plan on hitting some of those out of the way areas. I see you're from Alaska, we went out of Wasilla a few years ago for Dall Sheep, and ended up with tag soup. But we had a fun time. Beautiful country.

I picked an out of state guy a couple years ago (sheep hunter) coming out of a long valley. Was on my way out from stocking my moose camp. All I had was my horse plus two with decker packs. He rode out several miles on one of the deckers and was happy to do it. I think I'd rather have walked than rode on a pack saddle, but when your tired, your tired.

I'll bet he was happy. That was good of you.
