I drew a unit 6 type 1 tag good for the whole unit. I know they went to general season holders can hunt off National Forest now and give 100 tags for the NF. Does anyone have any experience in that unit? I've heard it can be a madhouse on weekends because of party goers n campers. If anyone is willing to help me out could you private message me.

I live in Laramie which is right next door and have never hunted this area. But with that said, with the general hunters only allowed to hunt off NF land means they will be hunting mostly private and all the private is leased to outfitters. Hunting could be hit or miss, I saw a 380 bull get killed about 5 years ago and I know guys usually get cows. I plan on getting my kids out hiking more this summer and plan on spending more time in that area since it is not to rugged for little kids. I will let you know what I see.
