Sounds great I have been up into wolverine a few years ago. How are the snow levels up there right now?

Last evening I was coming home from town just before dark and saw a lot of deer out feeding. Had a storm so they had been bedded up for awhile, must have been pretty hungry! I saw a least 100 and saw quite a few bucks with their horns (yes I said horns!) still intact. Sure seems late to me.

ShedDawg and I took a little walk behind my house tonight, and while she's found a few on her own and brought them back to the house, this is the first one she's found with me, while we were actively looking. I was pretty excited.

Fink!!! That is so cool. I have a yellow lab that is 5 months old and we play with shed antlers that are laying around my yard. I hope to train him to shed hunt. I am really impressed! Congrats on the find. Job well done. Keep me updated. I would appreciate any training tips you are willing to share.

She's not a shed dog by any means, but since she's been a pup, she's always chewed on antlers.. She pretty much packs them around wherever she goes. If I throw them into the woods, and send her, she'll go get them, but she doesn't seem to bring the ones she finds back to me.. Kinda just stops and sniffs them and picks them up and drops them. But, she hunts really close, so I usually just watch her.

If your pup likes his 'horns' he will probably eventually start to pick them up when he's in the woods
