i have played with one over the past couple weeks. its an interesting pack. the short scoop on the pack is its like a beefed up Eberlestock X2 with built in bow carrier and rifle scabbard. we will be doing a video on it shortly. its comfortable, beefy, maybe a little on the heavy side but we will see if that is worth it when we start loading it up and torture testing it. i'll post a video up as soon as we get it done but feel free to ask any questions in the mean time.

Thanks for the review. I really like the looks of the new pack just not sure if I would like the hydration off to one side versus in the middle.

Thanks for the info. The pack looks great a bit heavy but I am seriously interested. I am 6'5'' tall and 240 lbs would this pack fit a guy my size?

I got to mess around with this pack yesterday. Very nice pack. My question is on the shoulder straps where they hook to the pack with a velcro strap. Will that be enough strength if im lucky enough to be packing out a 100 to 150 lbs of meat on it? That strap looks pretty beefy the way it ties under two other straps then overlaps itself. Im just wanting to be prepared for the worst (best) situation of what i intend to use the pack for.
Thanks for a great video also. As far as fitment im 6' and 240lbs and it felt really comfortable and has alot of adustments for different fit.

T.S., tough call. you are pushing the edge for comfortable pack fit (your torso length would be important in figuring this out). I haven't talked to many 6'5" guys who love Eberlestock. The pack fits me perfect with one suspension ladder adjustment to spare and I am 6ft tall. People either love or hate Eberlestock pack fits. I would recommend trying on any eberlestock (Just One Series" packs and see what you think. The Team Elk uses the same adjustable suspension system as those packs (J34, J107, JP9).

Its usually pretty easy to figure out how to offset the weight with other gear and balance out the pack.
