    I like angled for window mounts and straight for most other uses

    It's just preference and have it cocked sideways some.

    Good info here. I'm currently in the market for a spotter too. Is the straight easier to pack in a back pack?

    I've had both angled and straight and for me angled wins hands down. fatrascal.
