    Wife's finished mount

So here is my wife's first Deer and Antelope. The image on the leather back on the deer was laser etched on to the leather. What do you guys think about the image? I was expecting a little more but it I a new process and is a work in progress as far as the image quality. My Taxi and I are going to try some heat transfer images to see if it will work. I will post some pics after I try it.

That's pretty awesome dude. I better not show my wife this thread. I don't want her to get any ideas.

I like it. I've never seen anything like that and it is a great idea. Adding the picture on the leather is an awesome idea.

That's why I went ahead and had the taxi put it on. It took the laser guy like 4 months to make it and I've never seen it before either. It will stay unit I come up with something better.

That is sweet! I think it looks excellent. That buck is a tall sucker too!

That's very nice IKC! I really come to love pedestal shoulder mounts. Excellent trophies and taxidermy work too. I'm sure you're really proud of your gal too!

Nice buck, I think it turned out good. The image on the leather is something I've never seen before...but with the way the mount sits with the leather exposed, I think it adds a nice touch.
