Colorado Plains
This will be my first attempt for antelope (archery). Any recommendations on Units in Colorado? This has to be a DIY hunt.

find a unit that doesnt have a lot of water and sit in a blind over one of the few watering holes. Most units have a lot less water in them then previous years. Most of eastern colorado has average at best antelope, but getting permission is most of the battle.

I figured the land owner permissions would be the biggest hurdle. Any other options in the state?

You can get permission on alot of land. Go out this summer and knock on some doors. Dont wait untill the day before or opening day because that is a turn off for most landowners.

Good advice above. Also the further away from Denver and I-25 the easier it gets to have access granted.
