I just won a Rem 700 338 win mag at our local RMEF Banquet. It was the progressive raffle so now my name gets thrown in the bucket for the 8 day elk hunt as well. I already have a couple of favorites that I hunt with so it may be awhile before I actually shoot this one. Grandson will probably shoot it before I do.

Picked up a Dimension B Group .243, ordered a Vortex Viper HS LR 4-16/44, should be in in a week or so, I'm excited to shoot it!

I picked up a Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight in 7mm Rem Mag. I'm putting a Swarovski Z5 5-25x52 with and Outdoorsman ballistic turret on it. It's at the gunsmith and should be ready in a few more days. I'm going to be trying out reloading soon too so it should be interesting with the new challenges and changes.

I've had a Winchester Model 70 in 30-06, since the late 1970's with a 3x9 Leopold scope on it so shooting something new is going to be different for me. Other than a trigger adjustment and putting on Pachmayr Decelerator pad it was stock since the day I had it.

I've hunted with a 7 mag a looong time. Very nice killing machine you're getting. You will be pleased.
