Cool pictures. Looks like some predator management might be on the docket though!
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
That's some nice looking country you've got there. I agree that some predator control might be needed. With all those cats I'm surprised you've still got a woodcock left.
Live to hunt, hunt to live.
Beautiful pics for sure. The cat is awesome!
I would love to get pictures of coyotes and cats too, only problem is my 22-250 has a knack of barking first!
I do agree with IKIC, the cat pictures are amazing. I don't get the opportunity to see those much in the daylight. Crafty little buggers!
Nice pics!! I will probably start bringing a camera more often next year since my daughter will be big enough to tag along. Then 2 boys right behind her.
Thanks fellas. I work on the cats & yotes in the offseason to try to keep the place quiet during deer season. Well...I shot one cat late one morning that was the biggest of the bunch (he's the one posed in the field in a fuzzy pic) to have a guy do a full body mount on him and have a woodcock to go along with him on the mount. Surprisingly we've got a ton of birds that come through, but weather kept them moving a lot this year. There was one stretch of about a week with no weather changing things up and I'd see 20-30 come out on the food plots before dark.
Great pics thanks for posting them.
It looks like its time for some predator management. Give me a call if you need that Bobcat and some coyotes eliminated.![]()
