Oooo I love those mountains! How has the elk hunting been the last couple years? It's been about 3 since I was there last.

Work got in the way.I didn't get to hunt it last season but I had a friend that shot a nice bull on the other side of the river. He shot a 6' cinnamon bear off the kill site next morning while he was hiking in to pack out the last few quarters.

Very cool. I've seen a few black bears there swimming across the res. I used to be friends with the guys that used to own Huskys. Used to be call the Timber Wolf Resort. We would stay there at the cabins.

I think so too. They seem to stick out a lot more and there are less people to deal with.

That's from either an '04 or '05 trip, forget exactly when I got that first camera. I used photostitch? that came with the canon software pkg with the cam(iirc) to piece pics together.

Randy was the original owner or Husky's and now owns it again. In my opinion he is the best contact to have in Swan Valley. The Idaho Fish And Game Warden is for the area is a high school friend of mine. If you want to know more or if you want his number PM me he is a great source of info for the area.
