Here is a reference. My hand is 3 3/4 inches wide accross the knuckles,middle finger is 4 inches long. I guessed the track to be fresh. Pic was taken at app. 10 am. It was snowing at 6 am sun came out app. 8am. So it could of been 4 hrs old..??

Not saying that isn't a wolf track, definitely could be, it is pretty small though. That is about the size of track my dog makes and he is only 70 lbs. Here are some pics of wolf tracks I have taken, one in Sunlight Basin and two in the Winds.
The lens cap is 2 3/8" and my hand is 3 3/4" wide.

Yes..After some research i stand corrected. It is a small track, but a wolf none the less. There aren't any dogs this high and its way to big for a coyote.

Male wolves make larger tracks. Pups, and females dont. Plus snow makes the track look bigger than mud will due to the way tracks lay up in it.
