    That's a good looking whitetail too. I know the feeling when you get fixated on a particular animal, makes you pass up animals you normally wouldn't. Becomes a personal vendetta!

    It's very personal with that deer and at this point I honestly don't care if I shoot him or one of the neighbors. Him going in someone's freezer and on their wall beats the heck out of finding him as a dead head. The last picture I got of him was after season ended, so I might have another crack at him.

    Hey packmule, good luck with that one. News flash, it will always be your fault. Lol. Those are some great lookin bucks for sure. I think you made a good choice passing up hers last year. I for one really hope you get a crack at that old buck. He's a stud!Good luck this coming season!!

    Thank you. There's 2 more that I'll shoot if I happen to see them just because I've been eyeballin' them for the same length of time and are about as old. I figure it will always end up being my fault. I'll admit the first one was my fault because I withheld some info from her. She saw the buck the evening before but couldn't get a shot at him because he crossed to fast with a group of 6 does. I had seen those 6 does hanging out at the front of our field every morning while walking back to the truck...so I hunted there the morning after she saw him and ended up shooting him. At least I'm smart enough not to fill her in on those minor details
