Didn't someone shoot a bull like that in Nevada last year? I thought I saw it in a hunting mag.

are those actual native wild elk in nevada? doesnt the russian elk look just like that? thats awesome, makes you wonder if some farm elk were released or ascaped and bred or is that the real thing? very neat.

As far as I know. We had a transplant from yellow stone or something quite a few years ago and I believe these are native. A friend whacked a pretty white bull this past year:

This bull was a transplant and was 13 years old.

Never heard of that. From what I've been told the Indians won't kill the white elk because they are in some way spiritual to them. So I would assume if that is true then they have been around for awhile.
