Ugh, I participated in a thread like this on the rok and it kind of shocked me when I really stopped to think about it. My simple answer:more than I anticipated or will admit to.

So many cool new products this year. New First Lite Outerwear, new Sitka items, new packs, a guy could spend a lot more money than he should One cool product that I am pumped on is the new Brunton Ember. Its a small, lightweight, compact solar rechargable power pack. You can charge the battery pack with your computer or outlet, or you can charge it in the backcountry with the solar panel side. It will charge a smart phone 3 time before running out of power. Take 2hrs to charge via USB or 7hrs to charge via solar panel. A pretty cool device for charging cellphones, gps, cameras, headlamp batteries etc.

Im with ya L.O this is probably my biggest season for spending/trading I have acquired quite a bit. Kuiu clothes/jackets Kuiu pack, Kuiu bino harness, an outdoorsman pack. I actually traded the outdoorsman pack for an older quad. Now my new hunting truck is loaded up with a 4 wheeler for those trails that arent vehicle friendly and the pack is there when the road ends. Also got some new to me lowa baffins. A few pieces of first lite clothing. Now I just need time to get my arse in the hills!!

Bitterroot, to answer your question from page 3, I got the 65mm objective lens for backpacking and the 95mm lens for digiscoping. I've had it a month now but can't seem to find the time to do some scouting. Its killing me to have it and not try it out, lol. But I'll be posting pictures and video the first chance I get. fatrascal.

After spending $1.3 billion on stuff last year, I didn't think I'd need much this year... Then I bought new strings for the bow, a new spot hogg sight, dozen arrows, half dozen broadheads, a Patagonia nanopuff, Vortex razor 10x42's, and now an FHF harness to put them in..

Oh yeah, and some bear spray, to hose down Grizz, before I shoot him in the face with a .44 buffalo bore bullet.

I'm pretty sure that's about it, or at least that's all I'm trying to remember...

On the plus side, the new strings and sight are allowing me to shoot about a 4 inch group with 6 arrows at 60 yards
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

That will be a nice system. I have the 85mm now, and will likely add a 65 at some point.

I honestly don't even want to think about all the $$ I've spent already!

One thing I'm super excited about though is a new Easton tent! Its built well, light and didn't even break the bank too bad, hoping to go test it out this weekend.

    Got:
stone glacier solo pack, marmot 0 deg bag, BA UL2, I have a small truckload of core4 clothing in transit as we speak. boot insoles, merino socks.

    Need:
Goal zero solar charger, new card for Rhino 530, AA battery pack for Rhino 530, water bladders and some small gear bags to hook to the SG solo. THERAPY!!

I had to give up the idea of a vortex 50 until next year, and got the pack instead. I have some decent binos. I hope i made the right choice.

I was at cabelas store for 2 hrs and left with "nothing". That is some serious will power!!

I have happily hunted in overweight and water soaked clothing using horrible gear for years. I really think this new gear will make my hunting more successful and definitely more enjoyable. I just wish I didn't have to get so much stuff so fast.
