We have 2 Ziess Conquest and my hunting buddy has 2, for me for an inch scope they are the best.

30-34mm Scopes Ziess fights a tie with Schmidt Bender but at an inch, for the price they are fantastic.

Vari-X what? Not this fat kid.

Not sure what reticle you got, but the RapidZ reticle on the Zeiss is great. That and their ammo program online, if you are shooting anything out of the box, plug it in and your elevation and some other variables and it will tell you what power to have it on to have your yardages correspond to the ones in the scope. Other than custom reticles, I think this is one of the most user freindly programs/scopes on the market.
