I would be really interested in what your observations (or anyone else) when you finish your hunt in area 10. It's not that I am ungrateful to get the tag, but I feel horrible that I blew the points I was building for a special bull hunt. I will definitely be more careful on all of my big game applications from now on. An expensive lesson for sure. Thanks and good luck!
I know a max point holder that accidentally put in for the wrong tag, bummer to hear that. Nothing to do now but make the best of your hunt. Good luck

Thanks guys, I honestly don't feel as bad about it now. I will head out there and give it a shot at filling my freezer. I need to start doing some research on where to start. With a couple of other trophy hunts ahead of this one, I guess I have put it on the back burner.

Unfortunately AZ does not offer any options for a mistake made other than to donate the tag or to give it to one of your children. $600 is a lot of money to me not to mention the loss of bonus points! Don't get me wrong, I love hunting in AZ. I drew a Kaibab 12AW deer tag last year and had a wonderful hunt. I didn't kill, but saw and experienced some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen.

Catahoula, any help from your hunt would be greatly appreciated.

Have you heard how much they are charging to access Boquillas? I have been considering drawing a Unit 10 archery bull tag.
