Taxi work with a bit of flare!

I told my taxi Im not a fan of faux velvet. On my deer I dont want to hide imperfections. I want to bring it to life. Well she responded with " I think its crazy. And I would rather not do the work until you are here and I can point the finger at you if it does not look right" after I told her " I want BLOOD vivid, red, wet blood. Instead of faux velvet". Im not sure if this has been done before but I think it looks amazing! And couldn't be happier with the progress. Ill update opun completion. Click image for larger version.

Wish I would have thought of that with my first archery buck. Instead I just had them strip the velvet off since he destroyed it when he fell down through a granite rock pile.

I have to agree with the taxi, I don't like it. Looks like muscle tissue.

The only thing I would add to my previous comment is that it would look a little more realistic with some of the velvet haning down. Still the overall idea is pretty cool. I am anxious to see the finished product.

That's a new one for me. If you like it then that's all that matters. I like anything unique and different.
