I didn't draw any tags...what to hunt this fall

So I didn't draw any tags in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, or Nevada. I don't think the sheep or deer tags in Arizona or Oregon are to be counted on with 3% or less odds. I've hunted mulies in Nebraska and Wyoming before. Never hunted elk, antelope or sheep. So my options seem to be general elk in Utah, OTC elk in Colorado, Nebraska rifle mule deer and archery antelope or Texas aoudad (trespass fee). All hunts will be DIY unless elk I would probably hire an outfitter for a drop camp to get gear in and the elk and gear out. What do y'all think?

I think you should go to far West Tx on an aoudad hunt...we need those numbers thinned so they'll quit out-competing the bighorn.

South Dakota has OTC Antelope and Deer tags for resident and non-resident archery. Quite a bit of public ground where you can hunt either Mule or White tail deer. The Antelope population is down from previous years, but I hear it is still good hunting.
Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me.

One thing you need is help picking a unit/season in the draw.

Haha. I put in for some great units with low odds. I was trying to build points for deer, elk, antelope, sheep, etc in those states. I thought I would draw gen deer in Utah and if I drew anything else it would be a bonus. Whoops looks like the plan didn't work out. I have private land in Nebraska that I can hunt mule deer and antelope (It's a friends ranch). I'm sure OTC isn't so bad either. So are you volunteering to help me in my unit selection in CO next year?

Why not a Landowner tag in CO, if you have some $$$, you can get a decent Deer one for under $1500; or go crazy and spend allot more. I am also weighing my options, but WY left over Antelope is not a bad deal, but be weary, those left over ones tend to be in areas where you might have to secure Landowner access. Best of luck... Plenty out there if you know where to look!
