The guy that owns Jimmy Johns chain puts a bounty out for 200"+ bucks. When a land owner or guide finds one he flys in with a helicopter kills the buck. Pays his money and flys out. Just what I've heard.

Loaded some black powder (pyrodex) shotgun shells today. I dont have any shotgun reloading equipment yet so I made a couple pieces out of 3/4'' round steel and used my drill press to put the primers in and push the wads down tight. No scale yet either. I ended up counting out 71/2 shot bb's to get the load I wanted and then measured them by volume with my ML powder measure. It went pretty well for my first time. Thanks for all your help and advise CC!

So I hear he is a very large person. So I guess if you gots the cash and want to hunt I guess this is how it's done.

I have a hard time thinking of it as hunting but I guess if you have the money and want to kill animals its a good way to do it although I kinda have a problem with someone putting a bounty out for a big buck and would rather see it on someones wall that hunted hard and earned.

Someone earned it by finding it, the reward to them is the chunk of cash instead of a big deer on the wall.

If I had a ton of money laying around I wouldn't say I'd be above it, but I think I'd rather try a J.Y. Young tour of North America and try to accomplish his feat with a Hoyt.

I guess I see it differently. How does he get tags for these places or are they landowner tags?
