    Yep..our timber rattlers smell about like a cottonmouth. It's a slightly different smell than when you walk up on a hog bed and their rank smell is still lingering. It's distinct enough to make you stop and look around.

    Well we don't have any cotton mouths up here, or that I know about lol. The most we run into have been pronghorn hunting, otherwise we have been lucky in not really running into them.
