Some things have just got to be done! Honestly the hardest thing for me was to trust the line around the tree with my life. It was good quality, made for pro climbers, all that, but still not easy to trust it when its the only thing holding you 100' off the ground. Got the top off and my girlfriend asked how I felt and first thing that came to mind was "I want a beer"! Worse yet i could see the bar from the top of the tree. LOL

The other one's got a rattlesnake With a simple statement made "Don't tread on me" is what it says and I'll take that to my grave. Because this is me. I'm proud to be American and strong in my beliefs. And I've said it before but I'll say it again 'Cause my family's always fought and died to save this land. And a country boy is all I'll ever be."

Its not easy, especially with things all around you cant drop branches on. Will admit a few hit the house, but thats why I wanted to do it before it got the new roof and windows. Physically its tough too. Would help to have better boots for it but didnt figure i would do enough to justify the cost. Wasnt to bad till tree started getting bigger. I wanted to take another 8' off it but I was about done and it was time to come down and finish another day.

We have a big fire going on the Kenai Peninsula right and the fire-fighters found and rescued 5 wolf pups from their den (they ARE cute). The State want's to keep them all together as a pack.

Where do ya all think they should go? Montana, Idaho and Wyoming seem to have enough already. I vote for Washington D.C. but I'm afraid it might be too traumatic for the wolves.
