You draw a tag for here? Lucky bugger!!! I have been trying for 6 years to draw a tag for that area.

I have heard there are some great bulls in there, but I have yet to see for myself. Hopefully next year

Stay close to the reservation in that area. Can't remember the name. My buddy drew it few years back. Elk were bugling hard, but not to agressive to come in for a look see. These bulls don't summer where the rut. Show up a week early to scout.

YOu shouldnt have trouble finding elk. I live an hour from this unit an its a very good unit. As far as the late archery I wouldnt know but I had the same late archery tag in a bordering unit an killed a 360 bull. Ur unit produces monsters every year. In this hunt bulls will be pretty easy to pattern. They eat an bed an repeat. Find a good place to glass an ambush. be patient, hunt hard an you should have oppurtunities. Good luck
