    MacDonald, Thank you for your service and dedication to our country.
    I am in the same boat. I find I shoot a lot less frequently than I did.
    When I shot my first bull elk a couple years ago it was one of the greatest hunting times but also one of the saddest. What a beautiful animal in an incredible location. Simply amazing. My most emotional hunting event by far.
    I have managed to get my 22 year old nephew hooked on hunting last year. Everyone should have the experience of mentoring a young hunter. What a rewarding experience to be able to pass good values and hunting ethics to a new hunter. We discuss the value of letting that little buck grow up to be a big buck some day and other ethical choices he needs to make. Everything is so exciting to new hunters. It is so fulfilling.

    I was going to post my own, but I would have said this more less. Apex predators we are, and I think all men should experience this. We are not monsters, we are predators that need to feel the feeling of hunting game.

    Hunters love animals more than PETA.
