    Mosquitoes

I went on a scouting trip for elk this weekend. The mosquitoes were ridiculous in some areas. I have no reason to believe it will be any different when archery season opens.

What types of mosquito repellent or protective clothing can a guy use without creating a scent problem?

I hate mosquitos. If there's no breeze, that ThermaCell thing seems to work.

I use Avon's repellent (skin-so-soft mom sells Avon) its scentless and has some spf in it to protect you from the sun. My dad uses the ThermaCell and swears by the thing. He used it for spring turkey season and he had no problems with the little buggers. Not sure how well it will work when your walking around or out in the open. My dad hunts out of blinds which keeps it from being affected by the wind and keeps the repellent in the zone he is in.
