    Anyone else?

Anyone else spending an unhealthy amount of time staring longingly at your hunt area on Google Earth? I'm pretty sure my area is burned into my retinas.... And my computer monitor.

+1 I was just thinking the same thing. Figured out some pretty cool features, been tracing my pack in and hunt plans by distance, pretty damn cool if you ask me.

I know that I am! I am going to know every rock and tree and waterhole that is in my unit. I have already planned my first day out, now if only it goes the way I want it to!

Nope. I know exactly where I will be come daylight on opening morning. Been hunting the same wilderness area since 1960 and I know where the bucks will be. If I were going to a new area, I'd be doing exactly the same thing you are doing.

Nope, me neither, I was sneaking into Colorado cowboys gear and attaching a GPS tracker for educational purposes! LoLol seriously though, I know what you mean. A great way to waste time. You know they call it the fantasy escape method of stress handling. Haha.

I dont for the area I normally hunt but like to look at new areas on the GSI sites. You can zoom in closer on the state GSI sites. Give them a try.

I need to get the "mountain north" card for my garmin. I don't see enough value in getting just the state cards. I hope i don't regret that choice.

I also can print in 11x17 color at my office to get some supersize of some strategic areas.

I am currently busting my ass to get the siding on my house. Then i can sit in front of the laptop every night and study.

Been using Google Earth for a long time and am still amazed by how much you can learn.

It's my escape for when my wife is watching girly shows on TV.

I have the front room DVR maxed out with every hunting, fishing, drag racing,......I guy could stand. My wife has resorted to watching those shows in her office. Just for spite I steal her laptop and surf google earth while watching hunting shows in the front room.
