    Backcountry Shape

Snapped a few pics of my hike today. Just wondering if you guys had any pics of your workouts to get in shape for the backcountry. This is the C-trail just outside of cedar city. Not too difficulty of a hike and offers a nice view of the Cedar City. Not sure what the weather is like where you are, but it's just beginning to come around here in Cedar City. Supposed to be around 80 this weekend. Scouting season is just around the corner!

Gotta love my hiking apparel. Shorts and hiking socks with hiking boots. Classic.

Time to bust out the new hiking boots.

The 4500 is just getting broke in. Only has one CO elk hunt under its belt, no pun intended. Still needs to get its first kill too.

Show your workout/hiking/shooting/preparation pics if you've got them.

Here is a picture of me and my boys about 100 yards from the finish of my first 50 miler, and just after. When I got home I tried to shot a little, but started to cramp up. O well just not tough enough. But I did get in some shooting in the morning. It is starting to look a lot like HUNTING SEASON.

Looks like I need to pick up the intensity a bit.
