What a dream hunt and a great animal.....congrats!
thanks everyone it was an awesome experience and quite different from the country in the Pintler Wilderness we have hunted for 20 years for one we never used horses we always archery hunted and just backpacked, funny thing is we have always owed horses and just never took them, go figure i guess the age has caught up to us!
Great story. Very motivational for all of us to head for the high country.
Amazing! Great story, thanks for sharing!
Sounds like things got a little western. What an adventure. Congrats man, that is a great bull.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.
Shoot the best, Shoot PSE!
Man what a great adventure! Im sure with that Grizzly close by it helped to motivate you to quickly get that stuff up the mountain and packed out
What a great bull and a fantastic story as well. Congrats man!
You know fellas the Grizzly left the carcass quickly once he winded us and retrteated on his own accord so the whole situation wasnt quite as tense and it prolly could have been the only thing tense was the fact he stayed so close by just inside the green timber and was woofing and chomping his teeth, but again with 5 guys there to pack and supplu cover fire if needed helped the nerves somewhat
Awesome story and bull! Congrats!
great read and great bull! congrats!
