    Trent, you and Travis should definitely come up and do it! Travis and I almost made it happen this year. Anytime between July 15 and October 15 it should be good chinook fishing somewhere on the southern Oregon coast. Chinooks average 16 to 22 pounds. We got two over 30 pounds this year and had a huge 40+ pound fish to the boat before the hooks pulled.

    That is an awesom fish UH. I think the biggest I've boated was only about 16-18lbs. But then again I've only been out a couple times. They are a blast to fish for though. Congrats!

    Nothin better than a fresh ocean salmon! Yum. I got kinda hooked on them this year too for a while.

    Nice! Saw a couple guys doing that. I've kayak fished in Mexico, but never up north.
