Congrats to both of you. Way to support her holding out for "the one". That is nice bull. Good thing she can shoot straight. What caliber rifle is she shooting?

Thanks all! I am blessed in more ways than I can count. I'm working on a full length feature article for the publication as we speak. Thanks for the encouragement and feedback.

    Great read and photos!!

Looks like a couple more freezers are in order and you wont have to by any meat for awhile.

Great story and and some really nice animals. I like to hear people give thanks to the lord, our country would be better off if we weren't trying to get rid of him out of everything public. I hope you like elk meat.

Congrats to both of you! I like that you thanked God! Looks like you have plenty of meat for the year! Whens the cook-out? I'll be ready for some elk steak! LOL :-)

Already bought another freezer and I haven't bought meat in over eight years. When we got married and moved I/we were completely out! Now we are flush! God is Great! We'll look for a couple of exceptional mulies or whitetails now but if they don't go on the wall then they will get passed, just don't need the meat. Family and friends will eat like kings right along with us. Tack on some pheasants and waterfowl for variety and we will be eating like kings for the next year.
