ID:	6460 3 hours into the hunt, rain was hot my tail. Glassed em up about 3 miles out. Got to 300 and waited her out from behind a small pine tree. .264 rang out and I found her in a pile of lung and debris. Cooked up a backstrap with bacon and garlic last night. One of the best cuts of meat Ive ever had from an antelope.

I was about done with antelope. This girl changed my mind. I think the taste is much more mild. And im starting to think the kill has alot to do with flavor. My last antelope buck I had to leave overnight and retrieve the following day. From start to finish it tasted terrible.

Ya, if you do not get the antelope taken care of right away it doesn't taste very good. Well, at least that is what folks tell me. All the kills I have been apart of we have had on ice within 2 hours of the kill, normally within a hour. Congrats again!
