    Dead Head

Hey guys, i was out hiking yesterday and found this unfortunate guy laying in the bottom of a draw. I have never really seen anything like it before, the small side is not a broken antler or shed off antler its just a nub that grew exactly how you see it in the picture. Any idea on if this guy just died of old age or do you think he was killed some other way.

Hard to say what did him in, but it almost looks like the other side was broken off. Is it for sure an elk? That's the craziest looking mutant animal I've seen in a while. Maybe his daddy was a wildebeest...

Very cool looking. My step dad had a pronghorn that had one normal horn, and one that was a forward drop that nearly covered its entire eye. Very rare when they do that, but so cool to get one to mount on a wall.
    I hunt because........
