    Just make sure that your scope isn't canted after u have mounted it cause that can change your point of impact at farther distances. I recommend the fat wrench And then bubble levels in the action and also sitting on your top turret so u make sure it is level. If u have those tools scope mounting is simply.

    i am obsessive about scope mounting. I run picatinny rails and bed them to the action with epoxy. I make sure the action is level in a vise with a precision level. Then I align the cross hairs with a plumb level at around 100 yards.

    i have had great success with TPS rails and rings. I like how you don't have to "even" the gaps on both sides of the rings.
