Good for you, Walker, trying to do the right thing. It will be a long shot trying to find the owner, but it is a noble gesture giving it a shot.

One time in Montana while riding hoseback, my pack somehow opened and my Swarovskis fell out. I didn't realize it had happened, and when we got back down to the road, a truck with MT plates pulled up and asked if we'd lost some gear. I was one happy (and extremely lucky) hunter to get my binos and some other gear back that way. Most Montanans are great folks and hopefully you'll find the righful owner wherever he/she is from. Kudos to you for sportsmanship and decency.

There is a FIRST! Did you guys notice, Walkers first post on the forum is trying to GIVE BACK something, not asking where to go to shoot a Bull! WOW! Welcome to the Forum Walker! I hope you stick around. You are a good guy (or gal... not to be sexist or anything... I am sure women are "walkers" too)
