There is a couple different lures I have used in the past with good success when I trapped. I was able to buy all of the from Minnesota Trapline Products.

    http://www.minntrapprod.com/Bobcat-a...x/products/58/

I would either use a lure or bait. My favorite lures were Gusto. Be careful with this one and open it down wind. It is pure skunk essence and smells just like one.....wow is it still strong. I still remember opening it the first time and losing my lunch. Another lure I like was Milligans Cat Man Do.

Some baits I liked were were Hiawatha Valley Predator Bait and the Minnesota Valley Predator Bait.

The lures can be applied to a stick or tree trunk or rock. The baits I always liked to put in something like a hole, a back of a bucket, etc.

Good luck and let us know if you get some pics of it.

Here's a cat I killed in the late 70's in N/E Cali. The pic is a scan of the original photo so not very good quality.

Gusto, Mark Junes wind walker, powder river cat call, even made my own bacon grease goop that caught some cats. If you can catch their eye you got them!! I use Xmas ribbon material, flashy and flutters around. You can guide them right to your camera with sticks easily. I set from Dec 1st to Jan 1st this year and got these 4 and 9 grays. Its fun getting these elusive hunters to step in a 2" target area, if only I could get a bruiser buck to do that!
