Zim....Non-Resident Moose?? SUCCESSFUL 020-1?? You are one LUCKY S.O.B..... Congrats!!! Forget the Bison!!
Zim,
You may not get a bison tag this year, but it isn't entirely ruled out either. A hard winter and high migration could lead to more tags than anticipated, although not likely. My number is in the 500's, so you are way ahead of me!
Good luck on the moose hunt.
llp
Hey llp, Bison priority in the 500's? I'm in the mid-2,000's!! Before they actually had hunts, but took your money; I had #16 & #31.
Now that they actually have the hunt, I haven't been able to crack the 2,000 barrier! Oh well, I'd just have spent that application money on something stupid, like gunpowder or bullets!
Ya I am happy to have any tag this year. I am highly likely to draw NM archery elk so 2 tags is enough. Just never got close for WY bison. I am looking forward to my moose hunt. It's in the area SW of Jackson. Very seldom even seen a shiras moose before. My NM hunt will end Sept. 22 so that should time out well with the start of the moose rut from what I've been told.
Yeah i am number 2039, better luck for all of us next year.
