You may have seen my name coming up more often in the Journals and on Facebook, so I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to everyone.
My name is Dan Turvey, Jr, and I am the new(ish) Managing Editor for both of the Journals. My family and I moved to Powell last August to join the Eastmans' Team and what a team it is! I am very excited, humbled and honored to be a small part of this legacy and to be given the chance to devote my skills and experience in helping Eastmans' Publishing grow.
I grew up in Bozeman, Montana where I hunted everything the Big Sky state has to offer. I've chased turkeys and whitetails in Michigan and Ohio to bighorn sheep in the unlimited units of Montana's Beartooth's, and everything between. From time-to-time, I can still be found poking around southcentral Montana with my dad hunting elk and deer.
With my extremely busy editorial schedule I won't be on the forums as much as I'd like but I will do my best to answer questions, add insight, give advice and in general help all of you become more successful western big game hunters.

Welcome Dan and thanks for the introduction.
On a side note, I like your signature in your second post too. It is a cool verse.
