Thanks for the intro. I too love Wyoming can't get my wife to move up there. She loves the Chickasaw Nation too much! Of course our kids would not want to move at this point in life anyway. But I do visit Wyoming quite often! Sounds like you got a good game plan. Good Luck!

Welcome to EF. Take care of that little girl. My daughter (5) has really turned into my little hunting and fishing partner. Grandpa's too! She was with both of us on separate trips when we took gobblers last year.

Welcome aboard. Wyoming was on my list as a place to retire. Lived in Southern California (my alma mater too! Fight ON!). My wife liked sw Colorado and we moved here 14 years ago. Still love Wyoming, especially Lander. Look forward to hearing more about your hunting adventures.

Hey Musket what did you think of FT Benning? I live about 70 miles southwest.

Eberle, I know what you mean, bro. I can do my job most anywhere but my kids and grandkids are in NC so we're not moving. And you're right, sitting in a flatland tree stand for hours can't compete with sitting on a mountainside.

It would be great to live 183 days a year in CO, WY or MT so I could be a resident, enjoy the summer and hunt the fall, then spend winter and spring here in NC with the grandkids. I guess they call that being a snowbird and I never thought I would want to be one.

Anyone want to swap houses for six months?
