Investing in an ED50 would be a wise choice. Put it on a lightweight tripod and you have a killer scope for the backcountry. It may not give you the magnification of a 65mm, but it is one crisp, clear scope!

How did you guys do? I am looking at applying for unit 75 muzzleloader in 2012. I too would like some information if anyone is willing to share. Thanks.

Just an observation. This was/is a great thread. It's the reason I joined the forum. Hunters willing to help other hunters, but obviously without giving up all their "secrets." Great stuff. I'd help any of you out with information once I become an "expert" myself

So how did you guys do in 75/751? Im trying to figure out how i can draw a tag there (non-res) 0PP. I guess I can try muzzy or archery. Not bad odds with a muzzy though...

Either way, how was the hunting last year? I'd just like to hear how you guys did, how much traffic you saw, etc.

    Thanks!!

May be tough with 0 PP... Almost guaranteed with 1... Good hunt but a tough hunt... Almost all the deer are at 12,500 to 13,000 ft. that time of year and they are in the most forsaken places you can find... Worth it if you're up for a challenge...
